Hi, I'm Selin!

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago, Department of Psychology, working with Dr. Xuechunzi Bai.

I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology from Rutgers University, under the mentorship of Dr. Calvin Lai. 

I study how immigration shapes social perceptions, including perceptions of nationality groups and immigrants' experiences with the social and institutional contexts around them. 

I received my Master's degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. I received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester, with minors in Statistics and International Relations.
